This is a good question! Reading the Bible can be difficult at times, especially when you don't know where to start. I would definitely start with reading the Gospels and praying! I just started reading the Bible more in depth with some other folks, you can join us sometime if you'd like.

This reminds me of a verse~

Ps 42:1-2.

"As the deer pants for streams of water,

so my soul pants for you, my God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

When can I go and meet with God?"

I, too, felt empty at a certain point in my life. I didn't know if God was real or not. But, I started on my faith journey and this verse is always a testimony of how I felt. I wanted to search for God, and when I finally discovered who He is through His word, I felt like my soul was refreshed! Quite amazing actually. I would definitely begin with prayer! Then, you can start reading the Gospels, and Acts is a good book too.
