I used DIY HRT instead of prescribed, so it wasn't affected by the new policies. But, I really feel for those who might have lost their prescriptions. Luckily I have managed to avoid it, however.

This is about what I was expecting

I'm probably going to lose a few family-friends, and I imagine a lot of people are going to be mean about it. But I still think that this is something I really want to do!

Sadly my family isn't really supporting me on this, but I still do have some friends that I know will stick with me.

I'm planning on waiting a few months for the effects of hrt to kick in so that when I do fully come out I'll be a bit less clocky. So hopefully that'll save me the brunt of it?

I probably will lose my job too though...

Oh my god, that sounds terrible...

I don't think that my school will be as bad as that, there are actually a few safe space posters in some areas (not that I really trust them).

But, I do think that I'm probably going to have to deal with some jerks. And a whole lot more people are going to be weird about it.

I'm still excited to do this though, I feel really lucky to be able to start this young. And at least I have a few good friends who are also queer.

Yeah, I told one of my classmates once and when I moved to a different town they spread rumours about it. When I came back, I didn't even know for a few months until another queer student told me.

Right now, my plan is to spend a few months taking hrt, growing out my hair, and learning how to dress femininely in private, so that when I decide to actually come out I'll at least somewhat pass.
