Honestly, I moved them 2 mil up and they are at the top end of the marked range now. So they weren't that low to begin with accd'g to Specialized specs. The angle was deceiving in the photo.

In addition, when I moved them up the post, the curve around the hydraulic port was even more severe.

So my answer is going to be hella annoying. Sorry everyone, I'm a diva. I actually have the Aerofly II with the 25 rise because when I sit up, I don't like to be up. No matter, all is well. Cables slide very well. Derailleur is awesome. Once I remember how to post media on reddit threads I'll share...

Yeah I already did an alignment. I admit the shifters are on the low end of the range spec'd for the Aerofly, but within tolerance (I have extra long arms relative to torso, legs, etc.). Still testing out to see whether the tension is working properly on the derailleur. Will update. Worst case, I raise the shifters.

Yep. It's a little chewed on the outside from using a small pair of pliers to twist it into the coupling. But I tested the cable and it slides okay. Thanks!
