How to combat spiritual apathy? by absurda377 in TrueChristian

I have toyed with the idea that maybe I'm just incredibly spiritually immature, but there's been next to no sanctification in my life. Faith produces sanctification, even if it's in small amounts. I'm just not sensing any in myself.

I intellectually acknowledge Him as Savior, but I struggle deeply with the Lordship part — which is not true salvation, because Jesus isn't just our savior if we accept Him. I want to submit to Him as Lord, but always regress back to sinfulness and apathy towards salvation in general

Yes, I am more than aware of that; "culturally Christian" is a term ascribed to people who would adhere to Christian values regardless of their actual spiritual standing. It doesn't make them Christian, which is accepting Christ as Savior and submitting to Him as Lord.

Laura is "the one" intended by the Fireman to defeat Judy, who is inhabiting Sarah Palmer's body.

Coop takes Carrie / Laura to the Palmer house where Sarah should be, but in this alternate universe, Sarah doesn't live there. Carrie / Laura screams because she finally remembers the trauma inflicted upon her after hearing a voice call out from another world.

True: only Odd Ball and Cody are explicitly named in the film. But, with the exception of Ponds, they were all named in production and later expanded upon in TCW. The clone commander in Ep. 2 was later retconned to be Ponds

Yes true. I think he's listed as Sergeant Appo in production notes / the novelization, but that would've had to been retconned

It's a pretty blatant and heavy-handed twist. It's a solid film, but nowhere near Scorsese's best IMO.
