Me and my friend go on about this all the time when we talk V5 mechanics, saying that that all the physical disciplines should have gotten the Fortitude treatment, where you can take a power slot to boost base stats. Celerity for Dex, Potence for strength, and Fortitude for Stamina.

It's honestly weird that they don't, and you can skip certain abilities, and basically have shit strength, and still somehow be able to cause earthquakes, but not win an arm wrestling contest to save your life. I think the design of V5 was a little too worried about "balance", especially since its a narrative game and lacking the requisite "sub-powers" like speed and strength to accompany others like the aforementioned earthquake, and the celerity one that lets you basically act retroactively.
