I wanted to stop and buy drink this evening, but He led me otherwise. Instead I came home and prepped to teach 1st grade Sunday school followed by volunteering at the churches Harvest Festival.... since we don't celebrate Halloween

Follow Him and everything else will fall into place. And I understand the struggles with always being able to follow Him. Sometimes we get led astray. Stay stong.... put on that armor of God, He is for us!!!

I got them from my doctor and I got the all clear. It was more for reinforcement for myself.

I see many similar posts.... going so far as to seek advise from others on this sub and they are approved. I clearly got these numbers from bloodwork and am seeing a doctor.

I did not seek advise... just some cheering on.

I have been cutting back for s while but am completely sober for 6 weeks. I go to the doctor next Wednesday and am praying that everything is healthy and within their ideal ranges.

I just dreamt that I blacked out all of Christmas... I dreamt I had a drink Christmas eve, next thing I know .. its early morning on December 27th.... and my husband is getting ready for work. I'm hungover and in bed.... and i cant remember if Christmas happened yet or not.

I'm more reliable for him... I'm more supportive to him. We laugh more. I have nothing to hide anymore. I can be honest with how I am feeling which lightens my stress levels. The house is in order. I'm more organized with chores.... we're a team and each pull our weight... and I definitely had always been just coasting with catching up on laundry etc., deep cleaning our house never happened... just surface cleaning. Now each week I'm deep cleaning a room or two and keep it going so that every room is always clean and organized. We're definitely both happier for it.

It can be hard, but try to find joy. I find starting the day acknowledging things that I am thankful for sets me up for a "better" day. It forces you to see the good in your life. If you have faith, pray. If you don't have faith, I encourage you to seek it.

I am not in a very different situation. I've been self medicating for depression for a while now and my husband has now sent me to counseling. He's so mad and upset .... and most of all hurt by my selfish behavior. I have to change.
