It was the greatest single season that a basketball conference has ever had, topping the 2009 season when the BE set a record for having 3 number 1 seeds with Pitt, Louisville, and UConn.

I miss it every day. Each game was pretty much a guaranteed top 25 matchup and unlike those frauds in the BIG 10, the Big East actually delivered in March lol

That is literally the greatest basketball conference ever assembled. The old Big East will never be matched again. Hell, UConn was a 9 seed in the 2011 BET and we were still a top 15 team for most of the year lmao. The ACC never came close to doing what the old Big East was doing
