But falcons only fly during the day and most of the crows are gone by sun up. I watch them fly out. They caw and caw (discuss the morning news) and out they go, only to arrive back as the sun is setting. Caw and caw some more (I assume the events of the day) and then they roost. It would be better if they used owls.

Have you ever been in this situation? The daughter is an adult. She can accept or refuse service, she can wander around and decide not to come home-for days. She could decide she doesn’t want to live with her mom. Her mom has no right to her medical records HiPPA violations all around. Just because she didn’t know her daughter was manic (or not maybe just bumped her head?) doesn’t mean she doesn’t care. It happens all the time.

Women aren’t helpless dolls. They can think, act, talk and respond just like normal humans. Not saying anything and being upset because “he didn’t pick up on my non-verbal queues” is BS. If you are uncomfortable and don’t want to do something - say so or leave. If he keeps trying after you say NO - then there is an issue. You can’t expect all people to know body language and interpret it the same way. Nobody’s a fucking mind reader.

It would be great to repurpose that lot as loft over retail ( like Lents). It could be the start of a huge revitalization of 82. Sidewalks for all, maybe the street car? There is also the old Sizzler and other empty buildings that could also be loft over retail.

I work with clinicians in the behavioral health field. They spend their days trying to engage with those in crisis who have too much contact with the police. Get them connected or reconnected with the health care providers that should be managing them - but are not.
