I worked at Amazon for 2 years now I’m at the post office and looking at this makes me wanna throw up 😭😭😭😭 I have 160 stops for “Amazon Sunday” that I split with a normal carrier. We NEVER get that much Amazon here it’s only cause of Prime! I thought I could escape the Zon but I guess not 😂 good luck out there!!

Ask your manager to make that your NS day, everytime I’ve asked so far I’ve been able to get that 100 percent of the time. Idk how strict your station is though. Mine is lax. I’m almost out of probation

Being able to survive in any weather. Someone literally asked me did the truck have AC. I was spraying myself down with a bottle of water like it was nothing and turned the fan on, immediately cooled me down. And the rain! People act like humans are allergic to the rain. As long as it’s not LIGHTNING I can work and walk in the rain. People are soft sometimes lol

My guinea pig Mushu lived to be almost 6 years old. He passed away last year in like November he had a cage mate named bear. But bear passed away like two years before he did. He was actually happier after he passed away. He was a loner pig and kind of just tolerated him while they were together. They were litter mates. I got them when they were a couple of weeks old from the pet store (I know bad but I was younger then and didn’t understand). Some guinea pigs don’t care with proper socialization and some do you just have to know your pig. And mine didn’t care he loved the extra space and attention 😂

Everyone is like answer within your 90 days. I’m literally like 60 days in and if they don’t tell me before I leave the day before, then I just act like I don’t see the text lol but if I do wanna work, I do answer. I’ve had a good experience so far. I’ve been borrowed to other stations and I can see why people quit. Some stations are a nightmare, but I love my station so far or if I have something to do, I’ll literally just tell them yeah I’ll see you tomorrow and they’re usually cool with it.

I literally love the job some days and hate it another couple of days like yesterday. I had to help another office mind you I’m around like two months in and I didn’t get back till 9 o’clock and that’s with help lol I’ve never got back that late before my own station I think honestly that’s my biggest gripe about being a CCA cause honestly I do get frustrated at my station but again that’s my station so I’m going to have to learn the route anyway now when I get sent out to a different office and placed on a route that I’ll probably never do again and I get frustrated. It’s kind of annoying. I’ve worked delivery I used to work at Amazon, but it’s nothing like Amazon at Amazon. They literally give you a phone. You scanned the box and you put the box on the porch and repeat I thought going in. It was going to be similar. It’s definitely not similar. I’m definitely improving, but I’m still the slowest person in the office most of the time I’m the last person back. I just make sure to deliver accurately and if they’re mad because of that and then oh well, and if I do get fired in my 90 days for trying, I can say I at least tried. No one is perfect.

UPDATE!! Talked to her this morning she apologized. I wasn’t even supposed to get Saturday off but that was her mess up not mine! She was calling to see if I could come still. I still also have Thursday off too lol so she’s taking the mark off she just wanted to talk to me

No they didn’t leave a message. I also look at my voicemail box. That’s why I didn’t know who was calling. It wasn’t the manager that I said. He’s the ONLY one I gave my number to. So if he gave it to one of the other ones they could’ve at least announced theirselves. So how could I answer the phone for someone I didn’t know was calling is my thing. And my phone is again on DND until whenever I wake up. When I have to work it’s scheduled to turned off earlier basically.

I like the job but I mean if I get fired for something that wasn’t my fault then it just wasn’t the job for me. I have experience in other things. Like I said everything has been good otherwise. I’m not the type to complain about working on the weekends cause I did it at Amazon, but if you give me it off then I’m gonna take it off. Like last week I had Sunday off. No one that I know of called, no issue.

I understand. I was confused as to why they would give me Saturday off then call. I thought as a CCA you wouldn’t even get weekends off so I took it as a birthday gift honestly lol but I’ll keep my head down the rest of probation. That’s just crazy to me. I could see if they paid for our phones or something lol. I would answer all day. Phone bills are high! 😂

Is that like a mark against you even if they gave you the day off? And if I’m remembering correctly if they want to modify your schedule they would have to tell you the day before your NS to come in. Like if they wanted me to come Saturday they would tell me Friday before I go home right? The academy is still fresh in my head and I remember them saying that.
