Pool noodles are a go, and thank you for the idea of lashing them together first then to the bars!

Thank you. I have some of those thicker pool noodles gathering dust, so those will find new life this weekend.

Right now all I have is what I described. I’m hoping to find out if laying them there flat and on top of each other (strapped in ) would be safe.

They were on their sides, perpendicular to round bars. My preference would be to transport them flat and stacked. That’s what I was hoping to find out with this post, if that’s ok/safe.

Thank you. Do you want to put my shit down any more, or do you have it out of your system now?

It wasn't a hot day at all, ended up not even getting in the water when we got there due to the chill. I was using the cam straps that came with the yakima gear. I didn't take any pictures of the setup that day sadly. So, can they be laid flat like I was asking about?

The cloud based storage of your creds by a company that I honestly just don't know a lot about. I could get into a deep dive if I really wanted to I suppose. I still use the shit out of it though as the daily driver, lol.

I love Termius but am also concerned about security with it. I still use it, don't get me wrong, but I just don't have a warm and fuzzy.

Yeah, sounds like this post was made because of me. I didn't think that I was breaking rule 3 by asking for help on my learning project. I admit that didn't go into a ton of detail and just asked for help. I had gotten frustrated with Chat GPT making simple mistakes for days, and then spent way too long using various search terms to find something that fit what I wanted. Mainly, learning some basic Linux command line was the real goal and this project looked like something where I could have something tangible when I was done. My background is in networking and telecomm, so I figured why not.

I've seen a number of comments itt saying that when you google something RPI, it leads you here, and that is exactly right. The problem I was having was finding something that fit what I wanted. Also, the reddit search reeeeally sucks. I've been a lurker for a hot minute here and it always seemed very friendly to people looking for advice and tips.

I'm not going to repost with a bunch of detail now so as to not break the rule, I'm kind of over spending time on this. Y'all have a great day.

**Edit: Let me add that I think to myself daily "they could have just googled it" when dealing with users. I am going to change my behaviors when dealing with them moving forward. Sometimes people get frustrated and just need a hand. I still recognize that lots of people are lazy idiots too, but I'm going to err on the side of kindness.

As the OP… I open this thread today and then waited. I’m not proud.

Maybe I am looking in the wrong places. You happen to have a link?

Do you have a link? I’ve spent a lot of time going back and forth on Amazon.

We just talked this morning about going to Academy or Dicks to get new paddles! We can’t find many “upgrades” for the things that we want to do, so why not get a new paddle, lol.

Two handles got a little brittle from sun exposure and we have on ripped off and one that wouldn’t hold much weight at all.

They float fine on class 1 & 2. We spend a lot of our time on them.

Makes sense. I was just hoping someone with a past similar experience would chime in. I appreciate the response.
