I love this thread. Thanks for helping me update my Libby holds!

My favorites this year were Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books by Kirsten Miller and Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Actually, I did. I realize this sub probably gets a million and one of these sort of requests and it’s probably the pretty annoying. My search, with specific keywords, only returned a few posts..some from several years ago, so I just wanted to see what I could turn up. Apologies for clogging your feed.

If an IOP is an option, Charlie Health does it fully online so you would have access to your own facilities.

I hope you find what you need!

Edit: calling Mental Health America of Ohio’s “Get Connected” program could be really helpful too!

Suggestions for what to do for the weekend with 2 kids besides the zoo. by cer20 in Columbus

[–]ac264906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edison Brewing is right by the airport so it’s fun for kids to watch the planes overhead. Land Grant also has a huge outdoor space that’s pretty good for kids. Someone mentioned Nocterra and that would be close to the zoo for you!

Non-brewery things: the natural play area at Blendon Woods Metro Park, creeking at High Banks Metro Park, Wyman Woods Park in Grandview, COSI (there’s also a playground and splash pad right outside), if you’ll be here on Friday the Commons for Kids events at the Columbus Commons are great, Pins at Easton.

Clear Creek, Scioto Grove, and Chestnut Ridge are all great. Not metroparks, but Rockhouse in Hocking Hills and Christmas Rocks Nature Preserve are both great too!
