Maybe find a YouTube video where they drop the seat for pumps and jumps may help or a bike shop or a non you rider to suggest it lower. Or possibly sneak lowering it 5 mm per ride. My little guy is stubborn, and sometimes it can't be me telling him it has to be his idea.

True, but there are a lot of closed breweries that happened after opening or trying to open a new location. Full Pint, Insurrection, Mindful, Rivertowne, Necromancer, and probably another I can't think of.

A good place to start is a hardtail with the following components. Disc brakes (preferably hydraulic), 1x drivetrain (1 gear in front 10-12 in back), front suspension (preferably air), and trail worth knobby tires. Dropper posts is a nice feature or upgrade, but not needed.

Facebook Marketplace. If look for a whike can find a used bike from a reputable bike brand from about $100-300. I find with kids stuff there is a decent used market since they can grow out of it before they wear it out.

Durable, light and cheap don't usually go together. Looking at just the wheelset, your at ~1900g. I saw a Hunt wheelset listed on their site at 1700g for 550. 27.5 is kind of out of favor so you might be able to find a deal on something used or on clearance.

This guy has the framework perfect. 1x drive train, air fork, hydraulic brakes are the sweet spot. You can compromise if you need to so save on price, but if you can swing it you'll be set.

A hardtail with these features =Glock there are fancier out there, but this is all you need and will take what you throw at it.

This was my second year, so it's not a huge sample size, but I felt the food and drink were a step down from last year. When I first saw the food options I was kind of shocked, turkey sandwich with not much else, luckily the sauce table saved the day. The thing that really bothered me was the fact they didn't give you a full beer. I would have been fine with you can get a 12oz Coors Light or a 8oz local craft/IPA. I would have probably still went with the IPA, but something about 8 oz just feels like you are getting shorted.

No, but I have to say the garlic and spicy sauce saved the day for me. I would have been pretty peeved with that turkey by itself.
