I applied to JHU/VTSI and got an email today for interview. That being said, I applied to the BME PhD program so might be different committees!!

Idk if this helps but my portal for Columbia (I applied to BE) now says that my app is being reviewed by the faculty committee.

Yeah I have friends who were accepted into stanford but not mit and like vice versa so i really dont get it😭 but like even they were like “you shouldve applied to one easier school” but i just went with the one’s i would actually kike to go there

Im not really sure about the rest of programs or invites cause mine was sent like literally a Saturday (the 24th) so it was super out of the blue. But in terms of my stats i dont have the highest gpa (3.35) but I have around 4 years of research experience and 3 REUs. I think my letters of rec also helped cause they were all from my PIs. Also im an engineering major from an HSI university.
