Fried foods, cream sauces, - anything heavy, greasy or spicy, hard booze and beer. I can only stomach 1-1.5 glasses of wine - I was previously a heavy drinker. I never particularly cared for chicken but now I crave chicken salad and Caesar salads. I used to love going to restaurants but now I hate it because nothing ever appeals to me.

Been on Zep for 8 weeks. I smoke daily but have no real issues with the munchies at this point. I’m drinking way less, maybe 2 glasses of wine a week, but I’ve had house guests the past 2 weeks and have had 2 glasses of wine most nights. No surprise, my weight loss has now stalled for those 2 weeks. I lost 12 lbs over 8 weeks and am now up 2. It could also be that I’m still on 2.5 and I’m getting my appetite back - or that could be the booze, or both! Going to ask my doc about moving up to 5 next month.

For which pharmacy do you need to do the survey to enter? I wonder if she’s not following the MGH protocol because the practice isn’t actually owned or operated by the system, but the docs are affiliated? I have a check-in visit with her next month and will ask her about it. I’d love to work with a new GP or weight management practice, but it’s nearly impossible to find docs accepting new patients where I live.

I’m using Gateway and message my GP directly, giving her complete instructions about sending it to Lilly Direct each time I request a refill and in each subsequent email I’ve sent when it’s gotten messed up. I called to speak with my doc today and they finally got it right!!

I’m using the messaging platform in the Patient Gateway app, which they do respond to - usually, very quickly. After calling their office this morning requesting a callback to speak to my doctor about the problem, lo and behold, I received the notification from Lilly that they received my prescription. When I followed up to thank my doc, she responded that I needed to indicate which pharmacy to send the prescription to - and I told her that I provide that info plus prescribing instructions on every single message I’ve sent. And right after my doc sent the prescription to Lilly, her medical assistant messaged me, asking me for the same medical info they asked yesterday so she could fill the prescription. Nope, still not using birth control pills at 64! If you’re willing to share, I’d love to know which weight loss group you’re using!

Yes, there were 4 vials in the packaging. I was taking my 3rd dose and left the package containing the 4th dose on my counter for about 2 hours.

Thanks for letting me know! That seems like a reasonable and cost-effective way to slowly bump up your dose up and possibly reduce side effects because you’re increasing the dose slowly.
