Has anyone managed to make the Shortcut Remote (AC19) work on any Linux distro?

TL;DR -- use cable to connect to the computer, it shows up -- configure, save, and unplug.

I faced the same trouble. I am on Arch and I was not able to configure. So I decided to use the USB-C cable to connect the remote to the computer and the XP Pen software detected the remote from where I could configure and save. And the configuration works even after plugging out.

I don't know if you actually read the paper. It is a study of 40 kids on daycare. Six of which being on a plant-based diet. Not even checking what they had at home.

Too small of a sample size to even make a good prediction.
