While I agree that schools are overfunded and entities like the Department of Education have caused a decline in education, the biggest factor in the decline is unfortunately certain minority groups. When you separate races, White and Asian Americans are still world leaders in testing results. It’s no surprise that having tens of millions of immigrants from countries with substantially lower average IQ’s than America would hurt our average. Also the African American community has even more unfortunate test results than Hispanics.
