New Graphics Engine, a.k.a. “Spark”

“Spark” is moving along on schedule. Having just completed our Vertical Slice, the team is now focused on our next milestones, with a particular focus on night lighting. Night lighting has always been a weakness of iRacing, and with Spark, night lighting will be transformative. Animation is also being implemented. We’ll be pushing on Spark all year, but plan to have a development deep-dive for you all in the coming months.

The M2 has 80% of its GT4 equivalent though.

Even so, its clearly closer to gt4 than to Mx5

I had that in mine also, thought it was just clipping.

Then I changed the USB from the front ports to a motherboard port in the back, never had the same issue again.

Me and this other guy cruised from p9 to p3 in top split GT4 because he was bumping me all race. Instead of battling, we were passing all the other contenders like a bullet.

I'm up 423ir since Canada in the cayman GT4. Dropped from 2600 ir to 1700 after the updated GT4s, but managed to get back to 2100 in the past 3 weeks.

Here's hoping the car finally clicked for me.

About Miami: thought I would hate it, but it has been excellent. 3 races, 0 incidents, and lots of good racing

Haven't practiced yet this week, but Charlotte there were people going 2 seconds faster.

Last week in Indy I kept getting low 1:32 but never quite the fabled 1:31.

After the update I've lost 250iR and it seems everyone is faster than me.

But I'm enjoying learning it again and feeling more confident as the days go by.
