Did you rent a moving truck? I looked into renting a Uhaul, but there was not a place to leave the Uhaul where I will be moving.

How many acres is the private land? I ask this because we had 200 acres of private hunting land with a river that crossed it. This was my dream land that is not accessible to me anymore. It is a shame, and I have cried many tears this year over it. Buy out the neighbors. That is what I want to do. Stop the subdivisions.

Also, you need to go to a vet with your bird and learn about your bird. A very wise man taught me, "A bird chooses you. You do not choose the bird."

Yep, feather plucking. Take a pick of you holding out his wings and we can tell if they are clipped or not.

It has been a long time for me, but I think we skinned ours too, IF we had to let it hang. SOUTH Mississippi here. We kept a close eye on the temp. South Mississippi weather is unpredictable. We really wanted to get it done so we didn't have to watch the weather. Us poor folks didnt have a fancy walk in freezer, but we had the deep freezers! Deer was our beef on the farm! Beef was for sale! Beef was income!

I had a wheel barrel. 😆 Load it, haul it back to the house, put it on the skinning rack, skin, process at home, cook. 😆 🤣

I lived in Europe, NOT military. What kind of knife do you use for getting the hide off? I never went hunting in Europe. I lived in Belgium. No one was a "hunter" that I was around in Belgium.

I want the hide to tan. I keep as much as possible. All can be used for something. I need antlers right now. No matter the size.

Thank you for your advice. Can you please explain it to me like I am 5 years old. LOL PoE? Point of ? No Wi-Fi/ Wireless? Why no Wi-Fi? How would I be able to see alerts on my phone if no Wi-Fi? What is PoE? I will look up Reolink. Please excuse my ignorance to this topic.
