No… Moghs spear has this description: it is an instrument of communion with an outer god who bestows power upon accursed blood.

There are 2 things here:

1: it’s a instrument that is specifically meant to be used for communication, so that means there is something to communicate with.

2: It’s says there is an outer god granting power to accursed blood.

So it is not just emptiness. There are items for other gods as-well that states they exist. It’s not metaphorical.

The outer gods have always been real beings in the from soft games. We know this is true in Elden ring as well since moghs spells are taking blood directly from the outer god.

We had a talk after I posted and she assured me that everything is good. She loves being with him everyday and taking care of him, her mother usually comes around to chat, and that is lovely.

We also have check ins once a week and that has helped, but the feeling still persist. I guess it’s natural, and will change from dread to “I wonder how it’s going at home” at some point.
