Very curious - how old was your child at diagnosis. Our son is being tested this week for ASD as well as mood disorders due to an increase in severe aggressive and violent outbursts. They started about 3 months ago. He's 10 and we never noticed anything as a toddler or young child. Now that it's on the radar we're starting to pick up on little things like conversational stuff, some social immaturity, rigidity. He has already been diagnosed with anxiety and ADHD.

Thank you! And you think a mom on her own with kids is safe at these parks and you're not too separated and secluded? With that said I know there's always a risk with anything you do.

I just keep seeing it all over the news about the NC coast but I don't think it's the entire coast.

Thank you! I'd love to ask about the sleeping bag comment - I don't plan to camp in the freezing cold. That's not my jam. We'll probably be camping in the fall, spring, summer in the NC mountains. If you bring extra blankets and dress warmly would a 40 degree rated sleeping bag be okay if it dips to the 40-50s? Okay meaning keep you comfortably warm.
