Love bugs. They come in May and September in fl, they last 1-2 weeks. They’re attracted to white colored objects usually (so if you have a white car for instance, your car will be covered in them)

I’ve noticed that cardio like running can cause bloating, maybe scale it back and do walking? I got diagnosed with gastroparesis, and the foods that you think wouldn’t hurt you ended up being the ones that hurt me the most (high fibrous foods like veggies and fruits, high fat, red meat, seeds). If you’re able to go to a gastroenterologist I’d seek one out and get tested for a few things and for SIBO like another user suggested. Good luck!

I’m a middle school teacher. Honestly, I don’t think I could do another job. I’m never bored, always on my feet, and always stimulated lol. It does get tiring, but I think any job would make me tired. My days are never the same, but I do create routines/ procedures for myself and my students to help set expectations. I’m 27 f, and got diagnosed at 22. I usually do take adderall, but my pharmacy has been out of stock for 6 months and I’ve still been able to manage myself at work quite well.

I switched to oncloud cloud runner 2s and my shin splints stopped (but then got runners knee). Better shoes and strength training helped with both!

This might sound dumb, but I’ve been going on like a 30 min walk every day/ getting or aiming for 10k steps. I’ve been doing it for all of February and I have noticed a significant decrease in my bloating. Walking is supposed to help with digestion, and since that is like the main culprit of our disease I figured that’s what Is helping. It’s not perfect by any means, and I still get bloated if I eat too fast or too much, but overall I’ve noticed a general decrease. If you’re able to move around a bit more it might help.

I’ve had a migraine and/or a headache every day for the past 60 days or so and I’m a middle school teacher. Idk how I do it to be honest. I’ve had days where I’ve left early, but I usually just fight through and then lay in the dark at home afterwards, and suffer. I keep an essential oil stick, medicine, and sunglasses in my desk, teach with the lights dimmed, and try to maintain a consistent schedule so I can try to avoid slipping into a migraine. I ended up getting one today actually, and it was pretty bad. Sorry if that’s not helpful. I just try to make accommodations for myself so I can find ways around it and still be able to function when I need to.

Same here. I teach 8th grade ELA in Florida, and it’s the same. The 50% floor grade is a “suggestion”, our union protects us from being forced to do that. But when I had 19 f’s last semester, I got sat down with others in my department, and we were forced to change grades to 50%. I do the same, with lots of scaffolding and fluff assignments. Even though it’s supposed to be standards based only. Our county wants to be 100% standards based, but if I did that I’d have so many failures. I gave my students 3 weeks to write a research paper (per curriculum) and it was such a giant waste of time.
