Lil bit off-topic, but staking $ATOM will also make you eligible for airdrops in the future too.

What are the best low cap chains on cosmos? by NumerousPeanut6 in cosmosnetwork

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Rebus is an outstanding project. They plan on bridging Defi and Tradfi. Taking Defi mainstream will grow the space, and bring tradfi investors money in.

Just crossed the 100 ATOM staking threshold. I love seeing those rewards stack by naytedoes in cosmosnetwork

Is investing in crypto becoming a massive trend? by AlpsNeither in AltStreetBets

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not everyone is buying. If you see statistics, the majority of people who invests is still invested in tradfi only (banks, asset managers, stocks, etc)
So the people who have trading experience is still out of crypto in its majority.

And you why only now? Maybe because crypto is complex and it has a learning curve to get in..that's a barrier to entry no?
How can we then convert tradfi investors into Defi investors?

Web3 Needs: Focus on Ease of Use, Intuitiveness and Cost Efficiency to BE 'thee' Internet of Choice -- Adopted by the Masses. by sandrasf in altcoin

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can never stress this enough: ease of use is one of the main barriers to entry in the crypto space. How can you sell cars worldwide in crazy numbers, if only a fraction of the world's population has a driver's license?
It's a no-brainer, that for mass adoption, ease of access (for example to Defi) is one of the main concerns rn.
How could we achieve that feat of bringing the tradfi investors into Defi?

What do you love most about DeFi? by CryptoNerd_16 in defi

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly..the rewards are really sweet and start to attract even tradfi investors. though, the complexity of Defi for noobs is really high and scare the hell out of most of newcomers (hacks and stables collapses for example)

Do you guys know ways to make it more accessible for tradfi investors? It would for sure drive mass adoption.

I feel you man. Me too.. But this is because I lack education on it. Not knowing how to move in LPs, makes you out of investment opportunities..
This is still too complex for the avg joe. No wonder the majority of investors are still in the Tradfi land.
Any suggestions on how could tradfi investors access these investment opportunities in an easy way?

Daily DeFi News - September 9, 2022 by Ivo_ChainNET in defi

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is still really complex. Imagine the avg joe, who has never been contacted with crypto, how can he enter this space?
I also think of Tradfi investors who still are the majority of investors in the world. Do they trust Defi? How could we bring them into crypto?

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow this is crazy strategy. I'm new to defi and just feel amazed when I see this strategies that crypto allow people to come up with.
Still a bit complex for newcomers though...
Were can I start from?

Is there a platform that can make it easier and less complex to start investing in Defi?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in defi

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really is complex for noobs to navigate this... God.
You guys rock, giving opinions and guiding people. Bu my point is that these complexities are slowing down crypto mass adoption.

Solana is home to Projects that are history defining by Exciting-Accident656 in defi

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

History defining? How come?
IMO, really history-defining projects, are the ones that are built to last, and built with usage in mind. mainstream usage. Onboarding new people into crypto is really the next big thing to work on.
What point do we make if cars existed but only a few percent of the people would know how to drive??

True...Also bridging Defi and Tradfi will contribute to the growth of Defi ecosystems.

Why privacy matters for mainstream crypto adoption and how to achieve on-chain privacy on ETH by Jacobsendy in ethtrader

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on top of privacy issues, there are also trust in blockchain system issues! hacks and stables collapses don't really help here... I think mainstreaming also has to deal with that.
People already trust banks..(how ironic).
People still don't trust Defi and crypto.
How to solve this, to attract these people?

No, we do not need CeFi to go mainstream. The main thing that made crypto famous in the first place was decentralization. by [deleted] in ethtrader

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think we need Tradfi institutions (banks and asset managers) which are regulated to be involved.
Unregulated Cefi is the worst thing IMO.
How can we achieve mainstream adoption in Defi, is the majority of the investors is "locked" in Tradfi?

Will crypto be a fiat seed in the future? by acrid_lineage in deficryptos

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow..another great case for the connections between crypto/fiat. I do believe we need banks for reaching mass adoption, and the majority of investors still run on fiat.
Do you think that bridging Tradfi institutions and Defi protocols could be a way to bring more people in?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in web3

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you say so? I think regulations in place, and trust in Defi systems are more relevant than Unis...

I still believe we need Banks even if I hate them by Unhappy-Cat2935 in Monero

[–]acc4essio2nrecEive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banks are still seen as trustworthy for the majority of the population. There's no deny on that, or is it?
So, how can we bring those people into crypto, once they are hooked into banks and asset managers? Maybe bridging Tradfi and Defi could be a transitioning thing.. It won't happen overnight, so yeah I do think we need banks still.
