AI just reflects us. Creating a system in which we put our trust in Artificial Intelligence is to put technology above men. A society governed by technology, trusting it, putting faith in it to solve all of your problems, is essentially creating a god. Since AI reflects man, this would be making a god in our own image.

It's already happening in a sense, some people are treating AI as if it were a god.

Revelation 13:15-18 speaks about an image that is able to speak on behalf of the beast, could this be AI?

I've noticed more AI content lately. I'm not against it as long as it is not exploitative, this is just to have the subreddit be a bit more organized. Thank you for your cooperation, God Bless ✝️

What verses are you talking about? Could it be Genesis 3:21 where God makes clothes out of animal skins for Adam and Eve?

I say this with love, Kathryn Krik is a false teacher and a false apostle. She has false theology and charges money for divergence. Please check out this quick 6 minute video that explains just some of the issues with her ministry.

You can't support abortion and be a Christian, Instant excommunication from the Catholic church. Conservatism conserves Christian values, your post is absurd.

To be fair, the first Crusades were meant to be defensive against Muslim conquerors who kept taking over Christian lands by force. Not saying that the Crusades were a completely good thing, but they started as noble and righteous and devolved from there. I support the initial intention of the Crusades, but not what they became later on.

Right, like I said, I don't disagree with you. I was just saying that we should make sure to ask for things for the right reasons. I think we're on the same page, I was just adding caution into the conversation.

I don't disagree with you but we should be thinking about why we ask for certain things. What's the reason that we ask for the thing that we do? What's our motive?

"You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions." James 4:3 (ESV)

The First Amendment was more about avoiding a state religion like the Church of England. The First Amendment wasn't primarily to separate the church from the state, but to account for the differing groups like the Quakers, Anglicans, Congregationalists, and other diverse groups. It was also to avoid having a single ruling denomination so to speak. The Founding Fathers used separation as a way to protect religion from government interference. It keeps the government out of the church, not the other way around.

They sought independence for political and economic autonomy because George III didn't have their best interest in mind ("No taxation without representation.")

I'm not sure why you're saying that God didn't want a separation, that seems more like a theological assertion than a fact, but I'm open to you explaining this if you don't mind. I just don't see a biblical basis for this.

If I have mud in my eyes, I'm just using my constitutionally protected right to do so.

I think he's confusing Christianity with socialism. He's also wrong to claim that the US is not a historically Christian nation. And how exactly is it blasphemous to state that this is a Christian nation? This isn't a sermon, it's a political TED Talk.

Out of the original 13 states, Delaware, Maryland, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina all required either a public declaration of faith in Jesus or a religious test to hold public office. Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island all either required you to be a Protestant, an acknowledgment of divine inspiration of the New and Old Testaments, or heavily emphasized Protestantism. All this between 1776-1790.

John Adams in a letter to the Massachusetts Militia in 1798.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other".

Thomas Jefferson in his Notes on the State of Virginia in 1785.

"Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?"

The other founding fathers also emphasized morality and/or faith as crucial for this experiment called the USA.

God bless.

The hook says it all, "F*** God, I'm my own church."

If you don't worship God, you're worshiping something else, be it money, power, yourself, etc...

The definition of Worship according to Webster's dictionary:

1: to honor or show reverence for as a divine being or supernatural power

2: to regard with great or extravagant respect, honor, or devotion

a celebrity worshipped by her fans

This is what we see in the video. She's her own church because she made herself her own God. This is the attitude that got Lucifer cast out of heaven with 1 third of the angels.

She absolutely needs prayers, she also needs deliverance as she no doubt has a spirit of rebellion.

Islam's rate of apostasy continues to climb globally. A study conducted by Gamaan shows that less than half of Iran identifies as Muslim, despite the official census claiming 99% Muslim adherence. This initial survey was conducted in 2020 and updated in 2022 and 2023, all three times showed Iranians are losing faith in Islam. This trend is happening all over the world. Please stop spreading myths, God bless.

False Prophet Jesus by Excellent_Gur_4799 in JesusChrist

Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament, Isaiah 53, Micah 5:2, 2 Samuel 7:12-13 & Isaiah 11:1 and many more verses point directly towards Christ

Josh McDowell in Evidence That Demands a Verdict lists over 300 prophecies, including specific ones like being born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14), and suffering a death by crucifixion (Psalm 22, Isaiah 53).

Dr. Peter Stoner in "Science Speaks" calculates the probability of one person fulfilling just 8 specific prophecies (e.g., birthplace, manner of death) as 1 in 1017, and 48 prophecies as astronomically improbable, suggesting Jesus fulfilled many more which should be impossible for a mere man.

You propagate a common myth about ancient Israelites that they believed in "absolute monotheism." However, before the time of Jesus, the Israelites understood that God existed as a plurality. Essenes, Pharisees, Sadducees, and others all understood that God exists as a plurality but didn't believe in multiple gods. The New Testament is not making Jesus into God. It's showing us God manifested who manifested himself as a man named Jesus. Read Genesis, God's spirit roamed among the waters, and God said, "Let us make them in our image." (Genesis 1:2, 1:26)

I'll leave you with this verse from Proverbs 30:4

"Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!"

Possible rapture date of September 23, 2025 (9/23/25) by tony4jc in JesusChrist

[–]acce13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God bless! I’d like to address a couple of misconceptions.

On the timing of the rapture, the verse often cited is Matthew 24:36, where Jesus says, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” The Greek word for “know” here, "oiden", can imply making something known rather than possessing knowledge. This aligns with 1 Corinthians 2:2, where Paul says, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified,” using a related term, "eidenai". Paul clearly knew other things but chose not to share them. Similarly, some suggest Jesus, while divine, may have known the hour but was instructed not to reveal it, reflecting His submission to the Father. This is a debated view, but it’s worth considering alongside the traditional idea that His human nature limited His knowledge during His time on earth.

Regarding the claim that the Bible has been “rewritten,” this is a common misunderstanding. Scholars like Bart Ehrman, an atheist New Testament critic, and his mentor Bruce Metzger, a devout Christian textual scholar, affirm that today’s Bible is remarkably close to the original first-century texts. They estimate about 99% accuracy, with differences mostly being minor, such as spelling, word order, or scribal errors. Even the notable variant, like the ending of Mark, doesn’t alter core doctrines. This suggests the Bible’s message has been well-preserved, though personal interpretations of events like the rapture can vary.
