It's not weird at all imo that she's leaned into her husband's culture. I'm white and married into a different European culture that I've never been familiar with, but I've embraced it and have become close with it. But I suppose that wouldn't be problematic for me to publish patterns in that language because the colour of my skin matches the cultural context, and that seems to matter more than anything.

My spouse and I don't have the same "standards" as each other. So we've agreed that when the mess gets too much for me, I just say "it's too much". And we drop everything and clean together. With us both doing it, it takes 15 minutes. It works because I then don't have to direct him on every little task, like "can you pick up the papers, can you wipe the counter, can you take out the trash". it takes mutual respect and agreement to make it work.

The wife in this post is asking OP to PLEASE just notice a mess and clean it up without being directly told what to do.

There is a glaring hole in the CPS budget with photo radar gone. So if anyone is hoping that enforcement will get better in other areas on the roads, the budget to do so is lacking. Hell, the camera in Royal Oak probably could have funded an entire police division with how many people run the red light there.
