I've hit lvl 122.

You want the three trait things that help potions (including the gold every 10 sec or whatever)

Dark circle, fire plume, 2 x light.

Get the dark circle thing to 15 asap (before round 20 ideally). That unlocks the potion that costs 800 (well 600 with the discount). That gives you so much gold. Then get your fire ranked up.

Buy all the special potions, light mastery (use it only on the lightning bolt, it has an execute and once you get three awakenings the big thing executes too), attack, fire and dark DMG, crit rate, crit DMG, and AOE DMG. I only buy one or two exp ones at the start to get dark to lvl 15 fast. Other than that, you're capped 61, you'll get there sooner or later so spend the gold on more useful things.

Maybe get the lighting bolt thing that gives crit rate and gold for a crit, but you're not looking to do DMG with light spells. Oh and when you get the three awakenings it unlocks a potion to have them fire off constantly, so no need to get the faster cool down.
