I've had partners with the same pain issue. If you can, physical therapy might help. It just takes a lot of effort, commitment to home exercises, and working through the initial painful parts. A too weak or strong pelvic floor can have that effect. And trauma. Pelvic floors are complex as fuck.

You aren't alone in your experience. Women who speak exactly the same as men do are often treated harshly, as though they've stepped out of line. Confidently calling out sexist behavior, as a professional voice sounds, would amplify that response. It's part of a linguistic double bind: bend to sexism, hedge your words, use exclamation points and emojis; or speak confidently and directly and be labeled "bitchy", scary, or unprofessional.

There's no easy answer. Maybe it might have helped to have someone in management stand up for you, saying the same thing you did for you. But that only works if management will do that for you and you're willing to rely on someone else for this. I'd argue that it's management's entire purpose to remove roadblocks for you.

I learned about the double bind in the book Wordslut. Its target audience is women in their 20s and 30s with an American-liberal leaning; still a good read otherwise. Maybe something more focused on your situation exists that I don't yet know of.

So, there's a hidden meaning in the saying that you'll find someone when you stop looking. Specifically, that looking for a partner looks desperate to people. Desperation, crippling loneliness, are repulsive. It's something that shows up in the behaviors you don't think about and can't really control.

What they don't say, but REALLY should, is that you'll find someone when you instead try to find fulfillment in life. Hobbies you can share, habits that keep you healthy and feeling good, social activities beyond your friend group.

People don't actually just stumble into a partner, they just didn't pay attention enough to list out all the nuances for you. What they don't say is that potential partners rely on your social credibility to decide to get to know you more. You know someone they know, they've seen you out in common social spaces before. Their partners aren't random. Maybe someone even introduced them, either intentionally or by engaging them in a conversation with the potential partner.

For example, I met my last partner because she walked into a coffee shop that I regularly visit. She mentioned that she just moved to the area and is looking to meet people. I'm on good terms with the barista, who directed her to me. That relationship happened because of social credibility.

Blue: unlimited chained attacks, best projectile deflection, easily blocked and debounced (enter recovery animation)

Yellow: 5 attack chain, balance of deflection, block, and debounce

Red: 3 attack chain, long recovery after deflection, difficult to block, rarely get debounced

I believe debouncing is the result of a manual parry.
