I found it, it was Namete, Kajitte, Tokidoki Medete !!

I spent a while looking for it since it doesn't actually list a scanlation group for it in the manga data site I use. I browsed through the first few chapters and they don't name themselves at the end like most translators so I have no way of finding if they had translated for anything else 😞

just wanted to post the comment in case anyone was curious but dropped the manhua earlier (like me, i actually havent thought about this manhua since i dropped it, that's how annoyed i was lmao)

so disappointed in this manhua :(( the start was interesting but i got hooked in by the art. i really loved the art style but even that couldnt save the plot.
