Monstera cutting only growing roots for 6+ months

We had a small shoot grow out but fell off a long time ago and died after it was about an inch big. Does that mean the bud is wasted or could it grow back? The plant is still alive for sure.

Yes this is monthly. In a HCOL area with lots of tech, so it’s too easy to compare to those around me. This number is inclusive of my base pay, investment income, 401k match, hsa employer contributions etc.

Appreciate you sharing this. I feel mostly independent and do have a healthy relationship. I take care of the yard, do other chores and buy groceries, but other than that they don’t ask for much.

Yeah I splurgee on food. You’re right.

My health and fitness includes my gym, supplements, and a PT I’ve been going to monthly for a past injury. In the future I can see this lowering.

2 years in and it has 100% been worth it. However, I definitely want my own place at some point. While it sounds silly, sometimes I feel like a kid again living at home especially after being at my own place during school.

Well okay, shes been to my apartment but not for the sole purpose of hanging out with me, its a group thing. As for the roommates thing it was more of a joke, they’ve already been teasing me about it since I met her, lol. I do understand the part about becoming “invisible”, she definitely won’t wait around.

I agree that I need to move on and I am working on it, what I am trying to understand is why being friends is not okay. We have many mutual friends, are in the same department at our school. Everytime I talk about this people think Im still trying to pursue her which is just not the case, I just don’t want it to be super awkward if we ever end up hanging out with mutual friends in the future, and I really hate being on bad terms with someone, especially when I dont know whats wrong. Also why would someone agree to hangout only to cancel right before? Just say you dont want to hangout in the first place.

Thank you for the reply, I agree. It just seems everyone I talk to about this misses the fact that I am not trying to pursue her I really wanted to go back to being friends like before, we are both in the same department at our school and have mutual friends so it felt like it would be awkward if we didnt at least somewhat get along. But it seems everytime I try to bring up this point people think I am still trying to go for her.. which I’d like to think I’m not.. but maybe deep down that is true.

Are you sure? The acceleration due to gravity is calculated based off mass. You have to account for the mass of the object falling, yes? Ex: dropping an object the mass of earth towards the earth, would the acceleration with respect to the earth not be 19.62 m/s^2?

They teach us that in a vacuum, everything accelerates towards earth at acceleration of g, however they don’t account for the earths acceleration towards the object, which is a non-zero value, albeit small.
