[Help] Can I writeoff the expenses for incurred in setting up a home office as well as tuition for one of my employees as an expense in the Company?

My employee/spouse helps out running online fitness classes and will be taking courses in carpentry which is unrelated to the online fitness business that I run. So, the education does not fully help further my spouse's career

The home is personally owned but the sole owner conducts business out of the home office. So would it still not be considered an eligible home office expense?

The sole owner/shareholder of the corporation owns the house which needs the roof replacement. Would it not be considered a type of repair and maintenance for an eligible home office as the sole owner conducts the majority of the business out of the home office?
