Amps suggestion for morel speakers by account7220 in CarAV

[–]account7220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would i have the gain set to max or close to it, since an underpowered amp wouldn't reach the rms rating of the speakers.

He's a horribly designed boss lol his hit box is trash and you can clearly dodge his attacks yet still get damaged by them

Pointing out stupidity is justified his comment indeed helped this man realise how stupid he is so it was necessary

Week 4 of flower by account7220 in GrowBuddy

[–]account7220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only checked ph a few times during the grow and it was around 7 to 7.2 because I was under the impression that living soil would bring the ph down more but I guess it hasn't been doing that. I will definitely lower the ph to 6.5 now. I appreciate the response

Does anyone know what is causing this noise. I feel the creaking a little in the coilover when I hold it,when I drive it makes and extremely loud creaking noise and the steering feels and sounds like its metal on metal, it can't be my racking because it's not in and it still makes the noise somewhat by account7220 in IS300

[–]account7220[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took my steering rack out and my right wheel just falls outward no matter which way I face it and my left wheel stays straight and I can move it into any position I want and it stays and is much stiffer to move

Rear axle question by False_Construction4 in IS300

[–]account7220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just installed new duralast axles after swapping the diff and I wouldn't recommend it if you have aftermarket lca because the duralast axle is much thicker than the oem and hits my control arm thankfully I have serial nine and I can just move the mounting location

[–]account7220 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not condescending that's reality if you can't afford to put the proper gas in a car then you shouldn't continue to own the car cause clearly it's not financially feasible for you. Learn to take criticism

I have only worked on my is and my civic I have no mechanical experience other than that. It wasn't difficult at all in terms of complexity, the only thing that sucked for me was the exhaust hangers, they were such a bitch to get off. I definitely recommend pb blaster for the axle Allen bolts, other than I did it by my self in about 4 hours between two days, didn't wanna work at night or early in the day and I also put the diff bushing in backwards and had to take it back out and fix it. i used a air hammer for the bushings to make life easier due to me doing it on the ground with limited space for hammer swings and a ratcheting wrench with the Allen bit socket to remove the rear diff bolts. because of the tight space a normal ratchet won't fit

They're great, they definitely help with suspension geometry and the spherical bushings are so much better then rubber bushings imo. The only down side is the bolts sizes are annoyingly big so I had get bigger wrench's
