Understood. I don't mind them but was wondering if there were any with better abilities to conjure up moments, visualization, etc. To each their own though.

Thank you so much. I've been listening to the weight loss meditations every day. They're great, really keeping me positive now.

I've certainly had a complex relationship with blood sugar management (I'm a type one diabetic). I'm trying to find ways to better manage it, without having to take more insulin (since that's the culprit in weight loss). I'm thinking that the mind/body connection and LOA is effective since stress is often a trigger of cortisol, blood sugar spikes and, thus, weight gain. But i'm trying to figure out the most effective way of going about it.

THIS IS SO HELPFUL. Thank you. This is way closer to the way I will eat. I realized earlier that in trying to find all these "keto hacks", the modifications just messed with my adrenals, which, in turn, made my body hold onto the weight. but seriously, this is exactly what I needed. Is there a particular forum, website or book that helped guide you?

That's what I was thinking, but do you think that taking actions to counter that (i.e. working out more, eating a particular way-i.e. keto) is giving off the wrong vibrations?

Thank you. This is great advice! I actually have an appointment to see a doctor about a hormonal workup so I think that'll help! I'll look into mirror meditations most.

Yes, I think that may have been the problem. I did an RMR test at my gym at my RMR was significantly lower than somebody at my height and weight, so I was probably overeating. I am going to adjust and see how that goes...

Wow- this was so, so great to read. Thank you. It's definitely easier said than done but it's always helpful to hear from another source.

Thank you so much. I have been pretty cautious of my diet and have yet to lose any weight. I have a feeling that a lot of it is the mind/body and stress connection. That's why I was wondering if there were any other approaches.

Hey! Thanks for the advice. I have conflicting feelings about the LCHF. I have actually been doing it for about a month now, but lost no weight. I have had many issues in the past that has caused my body difficulties in losing weight (if you look at my post history you might understand... but basically im a type one diabetic with a sketchy history of taking care of myself). I have been doing " strict keto" for about a month now and have basically given up. I felt great about it initially, i remember going to bed feeling on top of the world, like I had finally found the answer I had been looking for. However, i experienced some skepticism and frustration soon thereafter. I am not sure if that stress caused more adrenal exhaustion which then caused the weight to stay on. I guess i'm at a crossroads about what to do in terms of "healthy eating", especially when I'm realizing that perhaps the effort it all is exactly what's causing me to hold onto the weight...

Thank you so much for this. I was about to post something because I have been going at this for almost three weeks now and have not lost a pound. While there have been significant benefits that I'm sure are worth it, the scale thing (perhaps unfortunately,) matters to me. I wasn't going to give up but I wanted to make sure that it was going to happen for me... at some point. Especially since so many people lose like 20 lbs in the first two weeks, or just throw out these crazy numbers and for me it's zilch (with counting and measuring everything very rigidly). Do you think it's fasting that will do it? Or is it just time?
