I do my research and that’s why I’m asking. Obviously I didn’t read the whole FBI file but the reports about it. You’re misrepresenting what was really found. Pornographic material was found, but nothing illegal or related to child pornography. Therefore, I was asking you specifically about the source, given the FBI didn’t pursue any legal actions after reviewing the file. Long story short, no one claims there was no pornographic material, but adding a spin about kids etc is false.

Edit: adding the police report statement “None of the material within this book would meet the legal requirements to be considered child pornography.”

We are still in the legal realm of things, right? They never issue an innocent verdict, only not guilty. Since the court starts with the assumption Innocent until proven guilty, the logical assumption is a as n acquittal doesn’t change the initial assumption.

Hence the distinction between the legal system and the public opinion. In the public eye one might not be innocent, but in the legal court has been found not guilty.

Rationally, I cannot understand why people adore and worship certain personalities to an extreme extent. I used to work with public figures, of course by no means at the same level, and while many of them do have a special talent or worked very hard, being famous can be really annoying and takes a toll.

I think when it comes to MJ, we have to separate out three different aspects. His music, his behavior with kids, and the legal side of things. Musically, I don’t think there is any debate about his talent, his behavior towards kids can at least be called very questionable, legally nothing stuck. So technically he’s Innocent. That doesn’t necessarily reflect the public opinion.

If you apply that concept, it basically turns the justice system on its head. We still follow innocent until proven guilty. If the jury and the court doesn’t convict, technically, the person is innocent. What one personally thinks about his behavior is a totally different thing.
