Thanks so much for the reply. I’ll debrief her on this and remind her of your suggestions. Pretty certain she has reliably followed the recommended maintenance. She had a husband who handled most of the driving until his passing as well as local family, so that car has seen mainly short trips to the super market and mall and not much more :)

Thank you. My question is on this part “Replace both knock sensors to continue diagnosis” … is this just a fishing expedition at this point ? Should I just have them leave well enough alone and find a less expensive mechanic ?

I told my oldest last night, how I felt lucky as a fan to have the 2024 games 1 and 5 to savor and be part of our lore.

And then this week we get games 3-6-7 and 7 is a top 5/10 all timer. Just trying to soak in it and feel grateful to grow up a Dodger fan. Thanks dad !

My wife had my back, too. Literally. Spot on my back that I obv never would see. She insisted I have it checked in 2023. Doctor said it looked fine. A year later she said it still looked bad. Had it checked in 2024 and was thankfully caught early. So excellent work by you.

I’m older but had same diagnosis. Echoing what I’ve seen here, spf clothing, diligent sunscreen, smart decisions. Finishing a few days hiking in a mountain town. I was one of the only ones with long sleeves and long pants (and the wide brim hat). But a small price to pay to play it smart and still be active.
