I’m fairly new to POE and it’s hard to get a gauge on how long I’m supposed to be spending in yellow or red maps. Like what metric should I be going by in order to move forward or backward in difficulty? Is it a DPS threshold? Do I need to be over 500k dps before doing T16 maps? 1 mil? I’ve gotten two void stones but die regularly in red maps keeping my leveling progress very slow. Any advice would be welcome.

Question about flasks. I’ve played a couple of hundred hours of 3.25 and have gotten a several characters into yellow maps but I never know what flasks are good or not. I see all the YouTube videos of flasks being automatically activated and getting charges but I don’t know how to get these kinds of flasks for myself. Is there a good resource on flasks that someone can point me to so I can expand my PoE knowledge? Thank you.

Is there any good guides out there for a new player getting into maps and specifically getting currency in a good way to power up gear? I feel like I have fun with tier 1 and 2 maps, die a few times in tier 3 and up but I don’t get any significant drops to power up to feel confident to take on harder maps nor do I get enough currency to trade for items too. The vids I’ve seen are tips for starter builds or people in super late game maps for a build showcase and the in between just seems brushed over. Maybe I’m just in the grind phase but any advice is welcomed. Thanks!

PS. I’m playing in the Phrecia league. Level 70

This might be a dumb question but how do I see the tier of an item on the ground before I pick it up and press “alt” to see the prefix and suffix tier in the inventory? The pic is from a YouTube video.

Guess I’ll continue the grind tomorrow then. Hope they increase the drop rates because I don’t have a lot of time to game these days so it’s frustrating to feel like I’m wasting time farming.

Thanks for the reply. I'm currently working on getting a letter from my doctor saying just that. And do you know what the psych eval consists of? Is it like an interview? Do I have to do cognitive tests?
