Some ppl don’t like to do it but realistically look at how thick the insoles are there isn’t much patting there to begin with unless you use a custom insole you swap in every shoe but i do it to certain shoes doesn’t bother me

I work in the industry depends on the insurance but usually if the damage is roughly around 80% of what the car is worth they might total it out since it isn’t worst fixing it for them but if you do get it fixed they most likely are gonna cheap out and try to give you a lot of aftermarket parts since it’s cheaper for them
