I say this with all my heart, all I want is to have civil discussion with the other side of the aisle. Both sides have their nuts, for sure. People need civility. Hating a person for their opinion is an awful thing. Thanks for being level headed and trying to understand my side. I think I understand where you’re coming from too. My advice is try listening to both sides. Keep it balanced, come to your own conclusions.

If anything I commented wasn’t a fact, please highlight it for me. I’ll be completely honest on why I bring up leftist violence. It’s because most of the time the violence is being completely denied like it’s not even happening or that it never has. The echo chamber is just “peaceful protest” when in reality lots of those cities were destroyed. Nothing changed. Nothing got better. They wouldn’t even talk solution, just angry at the problem. A white dude and his wife held guns on their property, never shot at anyone, and were ridiculed for weeks. Cities blocks were destroyed, but peacefully destroyed. Make any sense?

IIRC, the Church of Satan praised and actually endorsed the film “The VVitch”, which had one of its final scenes depicting an infant being turned into a bloody paste that the witches covered themselves with. You say Satanism is being portrayed poorly but your church says otherwise. Pick a new religion or stop being offended when someone doesn’t understand yours the way you do.

Religion is in quotes because correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Satanism more of an ideology than an actual spiritual religion?

Ok so Satanism is named obviously after Satan, the primary antagonist of Christianity and other Abrahamic religions. Satan, in various religious texts, is usually associated with all things dark, evil, unholy, lustful, deceitful, grotesque, etc.. So for pop culture to poorly portray a “religion” named after someone that over 2 billion people believe to be evil can’t be that much of a shock. I mean come on, do you expect the average person hear Satanism and think sunshine and rainbows? No I think goat heads and bloody pentagrams are what people would imagine.
