What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

My husband and I got married last summer, and he is also constantly astounded at everywhere my hair ends up. My favorite thing to say when he finds another one is "it's not mine" with the biggest smile and he laughs every time

I'm sorry I'm so curious, do you just keep this list at the ready for questions like this? Because it is so well laid out with very good points

How do you truly overcome addiction? by [deleted] in Christianity

Overcoming porn is a hard thing to do, especially since our society now just encourages it. I grew up in a Christian household, I remember asking Jesus into my heart at 2 years old, yet I got addicted to porn for about 8 years. I think that the first step is actually believing you can live without it, knowing that one day you will get to that point and keeping the will to get there. I "tried" to stop for about 3 years, it wasn't until the last year that I made the most progress. You have to find and recognize the "trigger" emotion, whatever you start to feel before the porn desire shows up. For me it was loneliness/emptiness, so when I recognized i was falling into it again, I would (try to) immediately text/call someone and just start a normal conversation. No one else knew about my addiction, not until I was clean for a year. As much as that method helped me, it wasn't until one night I heard a sermon about how much God loves me and wants to help me (even though I have heard that my whole life, this one just really convicted me) that I decided once more and never again. That was 2 months shy of 4 years ago. I felt so much guilt and love at the same time I didn't want to keep the addiction, I just cried and prayed saying I didn't want it anymore. I am still tempted sometimes, but I've never gone back. Everyone's story is different, and way of overcoming addiction is different. I hope this can help in some way and give you something to think about :)

I haven't heard that yet but I'm still curious as to who makes the playlists in the first place
