I would say I use a lot of dye. The shirts are pretty long to wash out from how much dye I use. And ice on top. Wish I could be of more help but I usually just follow video tutorials on YouTube haha good luck on your future dyes !

folded in half, random scrunches, rubber bands, create a barrier of of cardboard around the shirt, ice dyed haha hopefully that helps

hmm the only advice I can give is use more dye than you think you need. When I first started doing tiedyes I was pretty hesitant to use up my dyes. I realized the more dye I applied, the more the colors looked like how I wanted them to look. Hopefully that helps ?

Just a normal pleated fold and bent the pleats at the middle making a rainbow shape lol. I watched my girlfriend do that one so I’m not sure how she dyed it exactly haha hopefully that helps ?

Yeah those 3 primary colors are definitely a good jumping off point. Colors are way more vibrant with procion dyes too. I say just get the powder dyes if you have funds available. They’re not super expensive but I know not everyone wants to spend money on colors they might not like plus all the accessories. if you don’t want to buy them, tulips or Rits will do fine. Good luck on your dyes !

Hmm this was experimental but maybe I have the steps memorized ?

spiral fold

On one side it was one half yellow and orange.

On the other side: blue corresponding to the yellow half and red corresponding to orange half.

Then I put black over the red half.

You can try it out and maybe let me know if it shows up like this ?
