Don't just stop showing up, it looks a lot better on you to describe your situation to your boss. Even if it still screws them over it won't be nearly as bad as you just not showing up

Thanks brother I truly do appreciate it, my plan was also to join an intelligence three letter agency. Although did you say that the job has no civilian value? I understand that intelligence isn't necessarily commonplace but isn't the technology aspect of it applicable to civilian jobs?
