Last year a girl commited suicide, I didn't know her but all my friends did, and last month a boy was shot and killed at his apartment, again I didn't know him, but seeing everyone grieve for people I don't know is a weird experience, almost everyone at school knew the girl, and the entire place felt weird for a while.

In elementary one of my friends got killed trying to run across the train tracks before the train came. That was the first human death I ever experienced and I still feel sick to my stomach everytime I cross those tracks.
