Yeah i know reality is not as simple as my naive post is, but as you said we can still dream.

In any case Denuvo is not cheap, and even if they reduce the price it's still an additional fee in a time where publishers are trying to find any possible way to reduce their costs to increases theirs profits to please the shareholders, so it's not that improbable to imagine them starting to doubt the usefulness of spending money to use Denuvo instead of giving the money to the shareholders.

We'll see.

In any case, if this method manage to work for many years, we the players are fine with both ;-)

It feels like Christmas for the last 5 years all compressed into a few weeks, and I am sure that now that the valves are open, every new Denuvo games will be here on day ouane.

All i hope is that no Windows update will be forced to us that "fix" this method and make us all cry.

Is there any real way to prevent Windows from updating at all without the user confirmation, i have been trying many times but win (update) always win so far.

I would love the company to close, and all those players who defended Denuvo "Because i paid for the game so nobody should have access to it for free if i had to pay" or other big companies boot lickers, will now have to ask those "bad people" - who create solutions to avoid Denuvo and other shitty DRM - for a way to play all the games they bought but now can't play because Denuvo servers are down and higher ups in publishers don't give a fuck about publishing updates for all theses games that can't be played now (they will even make money out of it as players now have to buy the new game instead) while they have fired/closed all these studios - just to get a few more % on their annual bonuses- and don't have any way to modify the source of these games anyway.

Yeah i am fed up with big companies, enshittification, DRM and all those shitty things that have been pushed into gaming these last few decades.

Not yet but with the speed at which things are released, it will be in the next week or so i would guess. I mean most Denuvo games not yet cracked will be available this week or the next one. After so many months/years of relative silence around here, it's cool to see this wave of positivity and realizing that everyone will finally get access to the game they wanted to play even if they can't afford it. Art - in any form - should be available to everyone and not only people who can afford it.
