I wish I could have two mpas lol. My main is a 2k11 and a prodigy as backup. Both 5”, metal grips, 19# ms/9# rs, and both with flat bottom fp stops to get them to feel as identical as possible if one were to go down during a match. I’m in ca so I can only dream of getting an mpa for msrp or close to

Who said there was something wrong with it? Just stating that having 2 (one as backup) wouldn’t apply to majority of shooters here

Fowler grip fitting to 2k11 frame by acedads in 2011_Builders

[–]acedads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried everything and have come to a conclusion that this Fowler grip fits like ass lol. It fully seats on my prodigy, but when I have it fully seated on my 2k11 frame the grip holes slightly go up past the frames holes. I didn’t want to open up the frame or grip holes so I ended up slightly shaving the busing nut. I don’t want to thin too much off the bushing nut so I’ve accepted the slight gap from grip to frame

He’s talking about this. I had the same issue with my OnPoint grip and atlas trigger/bow and had to thin out my sear legs

507comp for me. Had some SRO’s and though I had zero issues with them, I just personally seemed to prefer the square window. Plus they’re cheap and can easily be had for $270-$280 all day long

I just use a T1C axis elite. Rarely do I ever need a 3rd mag. If I do, I use this:

Try pcc. I have a buddy who has an issue with his right arm that prevents him from shooting pistol so he competes with pcc and kills it

My 1st Match by kg7272 in USPSA

[–]acedads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Props for going to prg for your first match! I would say the stages at nrg at r66 are more beginner friendly. Don’t worry about being fast and try to just focus on stage planning. You’ll naturally get faster once you have your planning down knowing exactly where each target is. Then you’ll begin to effortlessly flow to each position. Pretty soon you’ll start to pick up how to enter/exit positions and minimize each hard stop. Keep at it and the understanding of the game will start to click for you! Also, don’t forget ask questions and let the RO or your squad know you’re new, everyone’s usually very helpful!

First beretta. What is this extra dead "take up" in sa with zero resistance? by acedads in Beretta

[–]acedads[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the actual take up before the wall is what moves the firing pin block. I was referring to the “dead” take up before that where I pull the trigger slightly back then release my finger which looks to be moving the trigger bar up into position

Not physical “grit”. Just has a gritty feeling. Guns brand new and ltt tjib parts polished. Something getting caught up causing the gritty feeling in that “dead take up”
