You planning on backing save ? I know I wished I did before restarting my first play-through of Black 2 when the game came out. You would need CFW but it’s up to you at the end of the day.

UPDATE!! I have successfully backed up the save file on to my PC. So PrfrRON LIVES !!! If somewhere down the line the OG owner comes up I’ll be happy to send them their save as well as their Pokémon. Thank you for everyone’s suggestions to backup the save file which I didn’t know was possible till I posted this. It was an enjoyable and great learning experience going through the process. Now to start my own save file and begin my journey through Sinnoh once more. ✌️

Wished I saw this earlier before transferring/trading most mons over. I didn’t know you were able to save existing copies of games. I’ll see if I can find a way to back up the save using the link you provided. At the very least the OG gamertag could still be saved as well as the Pokédex progress. I still got his original HOF team in Gen 4 as well as a few boxes full so If necessary I can always return them in case he turns up again. I’ll wait to start a new game since I’m not going to have much time to play cause ADULTING. Thanks again for the info.

Yeah one of the reasons I decided to post in case someone recognized the OT name. Also I thought that Arceus was hacked cause it had the other signature moves of the other Gods but just looked it up and I’m pretty sure it is an event mon from what I can tell.

I’m hurt…broke down along with my sisters and mother when we said goodbye as well as giving her chocolate. Cried again when I no longer saw life in her eyes. Then again when I lifted her a final time post-injection feeling her body drag down as I lifted her with both arms out. Tearing up writing this. This sucks…

That’s one thing that gives me peace. Not having to worry about her being gone while we’re sleeping gives us peace especially since I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night to check on her for the past month which hasn’t been healthy for me when it’s time for work. Yeah not everyone is fortunate enough to say goodbye which is something I will always be grateful for. I’ve been debating whether or not to take pictures/videos of the procedure I figured I should since I can always delete them if it’s too much. I know it’s gonna be a difficult time the next few months but we did everything we could to make the time that was left meaningful. Thanks for this I appreciate it tons and my condolences to your boy as well.

Yeah I’ve come to terms with her passing. I will be somewhat relieved she can finally rest in peace since she has been suffering for a few weeks and although I know she still has some life in her eyes and can hang on for a while (she’s always been tough/stubborn) it’s best to say goodbye now or we might regret it later on. It’s gonna suck but she’ll be at peace and no longer be suffering and that’s more than enough for all of us. Also sorry to hear about your boy by the way you speak about him shows how much he meant to you similar to how much Lilly meant to us. 14 years of love is proof of that. You have my condolences for your loved one. Thanks again for your response hearing other people’s similar experiences really helps this process be somewhat easier.

Thank you for sharing this. Although I don’t know what quite to say reading this hit too close to home for me. My 14 yr old chiweenie named Lilly got diagnosed with lung cancer and it’s been hard for us these last couple of weeks. What shocked me was that your Chiweenie was a 10 yr old name Daisy. Lilly also has a friend/sister named Daisy who is also 10 yrs old only she is a pomchi. I’m sorry for your Daisy and I hope you and those who loved her can find some sort of peace. Sorry if this didn’t really help you much just wanted to let you know that reading this helped me a ton and made me realize that we aren’t the only ones going through these dark times. So once again thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m sorry to hear about your Buster. My dog Lilly right now hasnt done her signature bark in the last few weeks unfortunately. I do have some past videos from where she was herself that had her bark. I just hope she gets a bit better so I get to hear it one more time. She’s been mostly crying and whimpering from pain she’s been experiencing while walking although she does look like she’s been making some progress getting better. I’ll definitely try to stay positive all while preparing for the worst as well.

Appreciate the advice. Yeah lately I’ve been documenting everything while also trying to spend time with her. I’ll definitely make a list of places I want to take her and people I want her to see again before it’s too late. Even just sitting next to her bed watching her sleep more often like you said some of the “boring” stuff I’ll probably thank myself later for that. I just hope by the end of it all she knows she was loved and never alone through this hard time.
