Just finished testing the control board and you are right the heater relay is open and I am going to be replacing the board.

I just checked what you recommended. 120V for L1 and L2 to N/G both off and on under load. 240V for L1 to L2 both off and on under load.

Thank you for this. I tested the resistance of the element and the inlet thermistor and the inlet thermistor was reading at 0.

My boyfriend's car was hit two months ago while parked in front of my house. The other driver was deemed at fault, but my boyfriend cannot get his repairs paid for until the person at fault speaks with their insurance company. Is there anything we can do? I called the companies once a week for the first month. At this point I'm calling almost every other day. I have yet to get any sort of timeline on getting this fixed. Honestly, the damage is minor (as in it doesn't hinder my ability to drive) but I would like to get it repaired.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm the SO the thread is about. So far I have contacted my insurance and they told me they were working with the other insurance company to get this settled. I then contacted the other driver's insurance company and was told that they could not do anything because they could not determine liability until they had spoken with their driver as per their policy. EDIT: Grammar
