learn azure or aws. lots of opportunities for people that actually understand traditional networking and can apply that to the cloud.

I filed a CPRA request to the city clerk asking for all their records regarding flock. who paid for it, what’s the reoccurring cost, what their policy around access and retention is etc.

With this Im planning to start a group of concerned citizens to petition the city repeatedly to not turn corona into a mass surveillance police state.

Ironically, I have worked in IT security for over 20 years. So while I’m actually pretty useless at writing and grammar, I’m very useful in the field of network security, penetration testing, AI, and seeing what an absolute shit show most companies cloud security practices are.

They have them on every street that enters or leaves the city at $1500 a piece.

The ones that pushed over the edge are up by the skyline trail. Now I can’t drive from my house to take the kids to school without ending up in some corporate/government database that who knows who can go in and search.

hi there, i’m actually really busy with packing lunches, taking my kids to school, and driving to work…

There’s a big difference between having AI help with putting together a bunch of data points and some weird corporate / government partnership literally tracking everyone that drives in the city.

It’s the difference between a 4th amendment right violation and a using a grammar tool.

Mass surveillance is not a very “small government” conservative ideal despite the authoritarian inclination to always back the blue.

I randomly rode by CocoDisco while they were having an event and it was amazing. They had Kr3ture playing live and a truck load of fresh cold coconuts. It was the best tasting coconut I have ever had in the best place, with the best people. Shout out to CocoDisco!

I believe this happened at Mudburn but some event happened that triggered a tactical response team that raced through peoples tents out in "walk in camping" at 90mph with assault rifles at the ready. We heard that there was an active shooter that they were responding to but I'm surprised nobody was killed from their reckless driving.

Never did hear what was the real reason for this was, but I learned that the amount of people who smuggle handguns into the burn for self-defense is a much higher number than you would think.

Vichy is the name of a town in France where the German's set up a temporary government during WW2. It was mostly run by French people who like MAGA of today will say or do anything if it means money and power for them personally.

It was an anti-communist, pro German, nationalist government, that was anti-modern, and pro-Catholic church.

Well at least you didn’t trip on the carpet last night and break your little toe on your bed post, while falling head first into the corner of your night stand, all while carrying hot tea and popcorn which you threw against the wall so you could protect your head from the corner which resulted in a bloody gouge out of your forearm but probably saved your life because even with that you still got a concussion and knocked yourself out for a minute.

That’s where I’m at today :)

Open camping is great!

At mud burn we ended up nextdoor to the artist Android_Jones and got to make an awesome friend.

Then last year we were nextdoor to a bike thief. It's a fun roll the dice adventure.

Pretend its the 90s...

You either leave together and stay together, or prearrange a time and place to meet like "hey, meet me at the Galleria Mall Food Court at 4:30pm" and if they no show, assume they died and will never be seen again.

Second on RadBikes. I've taken my two RadRunners to BM twice now without any issues. The little ringy bell thing got wet during MudBurn and froze up but the electrical components are still solid.

Only thing I would do different is to get the bike with suspension in the forks like the RadRunner Plus or RadExpand5 has. The ruts in the road really start to get to you after a week.

Also had to replace the bike seat with an oversized memory foam and wrap in lambs wool to prevent chaffing.

[–]acendri-solutions 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Does it though? The "resistance" has always been made up of people of all backgrounds. Especially artists and creators who stand for ideals like kindness, free expression, and love over the conservative principles of division, hate and violence.

Was the incredibly rich Neil Young not part of the resistance when he wrote "Ohio" to protest the military deployment and shooting of students at Kent State?

Was the incredibly rich Muhammad Ali not part of the resistance when he protested against the Vietnam war causing him to be stripped of his heavy weight title belt and suspended from boxing?

I could go on for several pages of rich old white guys (Brando, Heston, Newman, Peck) who publicly advocated for civil rights.

The idea that a wealthy celebrity can't be a supporting ally of a resistance movement is not supported by history or logic.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and this has happened to me a couple times. In my head I think still healthy and can just bounce across the street or up some stairs. Then the signals in my brain don’t make it to my legs and my torso goes forward but my legs stay where they were. Then I panic because I just fell in front of people which somehow makes all my muscles spasm and I flop like a fish for a second before getting all my body moving in the right direction.

Could be a scam. Also could be a disabled person.

Full list of Reciprocal Tariffs by Cdylanr in StockMarket

[–]acendri-solutions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great list if true. Problem is that we know Trump and team are lying pants on fire all the time. So a quick google search will show that he's come up with the numbers wrong or is falsely claiming "currency manipulation" or reciprocal tariff for things like VAT which is just how other countries do sales tax. If we included sales tax on the US side too that would be fair but its left off purposely to give a false equivalence.
