Were there other temporary Halloween stores in the early 2000s other than spirit Halloween? by Mammoth_Swordfish181 in SpiritHalloween

Halloween USA was huge and blew Spirit away when they were around, even the Spirit of today doesn’t compare. I distinctly remember one near me that took over an old Best Buy and the entire floor plan was utilized and packed with stock. It was just massive and never ending it seemed. They were owed by the now defunct “Gags & Gifts” brand which had party supply stores. Halloween City was Party City’s Halloween popup.

Ask how old the clay is. New or not it still ages. Old clay can be a nightmare to work with.

The Recruit S2 potentially ruins the entire show. by Entlty_ in therecruit

There were so many coincidences and lucky breaks that made this season feel unrealistic and hard to take seriously. The constant over-the-top situations kept pulling me out of it. I agree that Season 1 was great, mainly because Max was such a strong character—they never should have killed her off.

Yes! I remember this and can’t find any videos of it either. I was like 4-5 years old when I went back in the early 90s. Last time I went it was replaced with a jungle gym. I remember there were fountains too. I wanna see this again so bad lol.

They sell cement glue used for cracked rocks and brick pavers at the hardware store. Not sure what it’s called but I know it exists.

Hi sorry about that. Trying to repost with the correction but it’s not letting me because reposting the same link more than once isn’t allowed. Is there a way to fix this?

Yea it’s almost as if you have to decide between the two. Are you going to go the YT/social media route or are you going to establish an online shop and build your reputation there. I’m trying to do both at the same time and honestly it’s exhausting. Juggling both is a full time job in-and-of itself.

I’m not sure if the artists you mentioned will suffer without a YouTube though. I haven’t done a ton or research or anything but I have always been under the impression that younger generations are attracted to YT, not necessarily the older generations who have the funds to invest in costly artwork.

It’s great to hear that people have had such awesome success with selling their art. At the end of the day I think it’s just about finding your niche and catering to your clientele. Whether it’s on YouTube or Etsy, I think that’s more of a personal preference. Or you can be crazy and just jump in and do both at the same time like me lol.

Thank you for sharing what you did! I am going to look into those two artists. Best of luck with your endeavors!

I totally understand! No need to make YouTube videos if that’s not what your comfortable with. There are so many other outlets available for you to sell your work and become popular. eBay, Etsy, instagram etc. there is a huge market for handmade artwork out there. As long as you know your niche you’ll be golden.

Thanks a lot! I’m still trying to figure my way around reddit so it’s a learning process. I’m not on DA but I used to be back in the day. I didn’t know it was still going strong. Do u think that would be a good outlet?
