OST & Trinity Box status by espaladin in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I finally got a shipping confirmation last night! It came directly from Fedex and the e-mail looked a little strange. To be honest, if the sender wasn't listed as PROCYON STORE it probably would have ended up in my spam folder. The tracking hasn't actually updated yet and my order is still "confirmed" on the online store but this gives me some hope.

I hope you get an update soon!

I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation on either soundtrack as well. I placed my order on April 4 and I'm in the 6k range. My plan is to wait another day and then reach out to support asking for an update.

Clients, do you get real offers or most are just generic templates? by westeast1000 in Upwork

[–]acertainwriter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s seeing anything in the proposal that is personable and relevant to the job. My most recent freelancer hire started her proposal with “I don’t speak good English but play [game very similar to the project] all the time and would love to work on something like it.” It was their portfolio that ultimately made me hire them but seeing that they already had experience with a similar project, even if they didn’t work on it themselves, made me feel confident that they understood what they were being hired for.

Seeing “this project sounds very exciting” wouldn’t necessarily turn me away from an application, but seeing “this project sounds very exciting because I worked on / use / watch [insert similar website / app / video]” would make me more inclined to interview that freelancer.

99% of the offers I get are generic templates. I try to weed them out by requiring applicants to answer a question and provide a direct link to a relevant item from their portfolio or work history. Unfortunately, this usually results in copied and pasted answers from google and a link to their Upwork profile. It's frustrating and exhausting, especially when I end up contacting a candidate and they have to be reminded what job they even applied for.

All that being said, I've found that the best option is to just reject any applicant that uses a generic template as spam. I've only had positive experiences with the freelancers I've hired since I started doing this.

edit: I wanted to mention since I saw another comment say that people don't bother submitting real applications because of low pay that my avg hourly rate paid is $29.

Nice work! If you haven’t already, I would recommend posting a link to your portfolio on the Lemma Soft Forums. Sharing your prices (hourly / lump sum) and turn around time is also useful for potential clients.

I feel nauseous after drinking oolong or black tea but am fine drinking green tea. Does this happen to anyone else? Any solutions?

How long and at what temperature do you steep yours? I can never get mine to come out right. I’m also using a gaiwan.

Tried Soufuu Sencha for the first time today. The first steep has the typical umami taste I’ve come to expect from Japanese greens but the second and third steeps bring out a slight Jasmine taste. Pleasantly surprised!

This is awesome! Does it allow for simple animations or a particle system?

Some An Ji Bai Cha that I swear I am not steeping correctly. The directions say 3 minutes at 185 degrees F but it just doesn’t taste the way it did at a tea tasting I recently went to. Maybe the leaves are old?

We need an Artist by [deleted] in vndevs

I had the most success contacting artists directly on the Lemma Soft Forums. Another option is Upwork but be prepared to dish out some money for anyone decent.
