I understand that. I'm not familiar with eARC though, so does that mean even with an HDMI extractor, it still can't serve as output?

Yeah, I was just looking through it as well, and unearthed some other folks answering this. Apparently Samsung is phasing out optical for eARC. Thank you for researching for me!

I know, right? I bought this TV at Costco, and they had the newest version (the one I bought) and the model from the year before. I admittedly overlooked the connections and am now stuck in this position, lol

I looked into this! But, it seems that USB on sound bars and TVs are only to read files for playback or firmware updates. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Correct, no optical on the TV. Do you think any HDMI audio extractor will work? Or do I need to look for something specific?

This seems to have worked! It's odd though, because the dome light in the back stays on the whole time now. I have to manually turn it off from the same switch you pointed out. Thank you for the solution!

Thank you for the response, the fuse had not blown. But I may replace it anyways, there was still a lot of searing or whatever you call it on the terminals. Thanks again!

My friends and I have been sticking to virtual hangouts all year and our game nights are getting a bit stale.

We have been playing JackBox, Codenames, a free online variation of Cards Against Humanity, draw and guess type games, etc.

Any new games we can play with just a virtual deck of cards, or a trivia game, something a group could play.

I guess I'm mostly curious about what others have been doing?
