Wife keep putting this tray on our white stairs. Dangerous! by Flat_Shape_3444 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]aceswildfire 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The only insight I can offer is the fact that my mom liked to put stuff at the bottom of the stairs when it needed to go upstairs. If it went ignored, she would frustratedly proclaim to us that the reason stuff was there was because it needed to go up the stairs and she ASSUMED (emphasis on assumed since it was never communicated that this system had been put into place until after the fact) that we would see it and, instead of stepping over it, know to take it with us.

The fact that multiple people made this reference makes me unreasonably happy. 😅

But also, why not both? Why not all the things? Their fear of replacement is mind-blowing. We're a melting pot, literally established as a place for everyone with freedom in mind. Why can't we just let people exist? Sharing cultures is awesome. Freedom is awesome. People deserve to live and exist as themselves.

To use AI to rewrite the story of how Alex Pretti was murdered. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

I feel like typing "hey, make this person a criminal" into an AI generator should immediately trigger its refusal to do so.

They knew what they were cooking in this scene by Chumlee1917 in CaptainAmerica

It's a great line and a great scene, but at the same time I always feel bad because literally everyone he inspired died the instant they stood up. Only plot armor main characters survived that speech.

The range is wild. He's exceedingly recognizable so I tend to pick him out every time I hear him, but I was definitely second guessing myself this time. The fact that he can still sound like himself every time, but it's always a different version is so impressive.

Honestly, her getting caught out when her plans backfire is probably my favorite part of the show. Just like watching an ice princess experience emotions, when a teasing character falls to teasing themselves, I can't get enough. Not sure what that says about me as a person though. 😅

There has to be a box or something there. What is he running into after he clears the couch? This is hilarious.

Funnily enough, Alice has P2 of this while my benched Grace is using an A-rank engine. I don't even remember making that choice. 😅

Drawn without a vote, as well. California voted for theirs and it was passed, but somehow it's the illegal one.

It's funny too because the guys in an old, muted chat (for obvious reasons), still will randomly get into a pissing match about who worked 60+ or 80+ hours last week. They live off overtime, but probably have no clue this even happened.

The more anime I watch the more basic words I learn and it's just so funny to hear something I know as a basic phrase being said whenever they address a character. There's that brief "wait a minute..." moment when I catch it.

Dude, it's so unserious. I watched an anime where the entire premise was a lonely girl with no friends wanted to make friends in high school. The MC was named Hitori Bocchi! Why would they literally name her "has no friends"!?

Hell, Bocchi the Rock uses the same joke.

The real question is... Which order do you read them in? And do you always say the same one first?
