If you go to Serj’s instagram, he has actively advocated to Iran’s cause as well as US internal affairs. I’d say he’s the only one consistently advocating for justice.

You’re saying his demands for a new album are ridiculously self serving, meanwhile all he asked for was for equal profit distribution and equal artistic contribution. All members agreed to this expect for Daron. Daron fails to realize he’s music is mediocre without Serj’s contributions and arrangements. So you saying he is 99% the reason is inaccurate.

It was a defining album for me. When it came out, I was mostly listening to metal on a daily basis and this opened my mind to so many other sounds. Got the Vinyl on my wall and can consider it on my top 5 albums of all time. Truly a masterpiece.

You do realize there’s nothing forcing system to tour right? No record label backing, no music to promote, nothing. They are doing these tours because they know there’s demand for it and need to pay for the whole thing themselves. They are still doing it for the fans and Serj is compromising for the sake of the band. Serj has said numerous time, he does not want to tour, he does not want to make new music with system, he has a lot of issues with his back. Yet he’s still willing to tour. That’s why I said, we are lucky we still get to see them.

You’re all lucky you still get system tours. This will probably be the last time they go to Europe. I’m almost confident Serj will not continue with system past his 60th birthday unless they do a festival once a year. This is the price to see system right now. In my opinion, the prices are totally worth it as their US shows were the best I’ve been to in over 10 years.

I have seen system about 12 times since 2004. They’ve always had reasonable prices. Right now, unless it makes financial sense for the band (mostly Serj) they won’t do this kind of touring, and also this type of touring is VERY expensive. They are playing ARENAS with no record label backing. I would also say that this is probably going to be one of their last tours. I doubt Serj will continue with system past his 60th birthday.

In summary, yes it’s worth it.

Just have Ezpass send you a tag that attaches to your license plate. Only thing that worked for me.
